Once again I don't think everyone agrees on how to potty train. I think you will hear an assortment of different views on this. So this is just one more view :)
I DO NOT potty train!! Yes I talk about the potty, read books about the potty, show them the potty, but I never force them to go. I always let it be there own idea! So far all my kids have potty trained in a day and never wore a diaper again, not even to bed! My kids just woke up one day and decided they were going to go on the potty and that's what they did. They all were almost 3, January my daughter is 3 and she has very little interest so far, but we talk about it and she knows she will get a "treat' if she goes on it. I have found that if you are patient and don't force it then they do not regress like most kids do.
Like I said this is just my take on it. I don't think there really is a wrong or right answer with this. Its just what you want to do. For me personally I didn't want to be stressed all day asking if they had to go potty all the time.
